Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were academics. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She's the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the first moments in her existence, such as watching and participating in rehearsals of plays. Silk featured in a number of commercials as a child. The year 1997 was the time she earned an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto and moved to Los Angeles during the years following 1999. She met her new husband, Seth Cooperman, at an acting training in Los Angeles in 2007. Following their engagement in 2008, the couple were married in the year 2009. Following her conversion to Judaism and they renew their vows in the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk had a child named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May in 2016. Silk's TV work includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009, she was cast in the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming of the final season episode. She announced the pregnancy to fans of the series in the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season. On the 20th of June 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to return to the series. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the same-sex couple in Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared them Top TV Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its growing popularity on social networks has grown to a huge online fan base.
